In the April issue get ready for growing season as two master gardeners share their wisdom.

“I love watching the sun set on the lake,” says Ann Harty, a Plymouth resident. “I get to watch the sun set every night, right from my house on Medicine Lake.”

Little Girl Gone is a high stakes thriller about a missing girl from an affluent Minnesota neighborhood. Author Gerry Schmidt is from Minnesota, and she says “I wanted to unleash my inner bad girl” and connect with her own emotional core.

Warm weather brings budding trees and flowering plants, and who doesn’t want to feel the pride of taking care of a lovely garden? Before you can harvest tomatoes or bring geraniums outdoors, you’ll need to make sure your soil and supplies are all in order.

 

Soccer has been in Michael Riley’s life for as long as he can remember. “When I was 18 months old, my parents would take my older brother and me down to the basement and move our feet along the floor, kicking soccer balls around,” says Riley, a senior at Wayzata High School.
